I don't think there is a more iconic and classic coat than the trench coat. It is super chic, can be dressed up or down and goes with just about anything in your wardrobe. I would say it doesn't even matter what you wear underneath. As long as you are covering it up with a trench coat, you'll look chic, on trend and put together. It's a must have in every woman's wardrobe!
The classic trench coat comes in different colors, lengths and fabrics. After a lot of online searching, I have found my favorite one from ASOS. I love everything about it! The color is the perfect shade of beige. The fabric is just the right thickness and weight, with a beautiful drape that is not too stiff nor too flowy. The fit is just loose enough to layer over a tee, blouse or even a sweater without feeling constricted. It hits just above my knees, which is perfect for my needs. I've gotten a lot of use out of it in the short time I have had it and I imagine I'll be wearing a lot more over the next few weeks as we head into the season of spring showers.
